Clearwater Hampers Limited is the promoter of the prizes and offers made within www.hamper.com. Any notices to be sent to the vendor shall be deemed given when sent by facsimile, email or letter to the above address or to email@example.com. The purchaser shall be anyone entering www.hamper.com or placing an order with Clearwater.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
All orders received are subject to acceptance by Clearwater and we reserve the right to reject any order without giving reasons. No contract to supply goods or services to you will come into existence unless we despatch goods or provide services to the purchaser or otherwise communicate to the purchaser our acceptance of an order.
PAYMENT TERMS AND TITLE
Payment may be made by Visa/MasterCard, American Express or Maestro and should be made with an order unless a credit account has previously been arranged. Payments on credit accounts are due 28 days from date of invoice and should be paid by bank transfer or, if specifically agreed, by cheque or credit card. Any discounts agreed will apply only to amounts paid in accordance with the agreed terms and interest will be charged on all overdue accounts at a rate of 1.5% per month.
Title to goods supplied will remain with Clearwater until all sums due by the purchaser are paid in full.
SERVICE and PRODUCTS
Service is all important to Clearwater: We have an established reputation for an efficient and innovative approach, combined with an efficient delivery service We select the finest quality produce and will replace or make a refund in respect of any item which does not arrive in good condition or is lost in transit. This does not affect statutory rights of the purchaser as a consumer.
Prices of the Clearwater hamper range are reviewed in September each year and purchasers are advised to check and confirm prices of hamper orders placed before this date for despatch following it. Purchases on www.hamper.com will be charged at the prices ruling at the date of the order. We reserve the right to amend prices should there be changes in relevant legislation.
Many of our hampers are available throughout the year; day to day availability can be checked on www.hamper.com or by contact with the Clearwater.
We will published last order date for delivery before Christmas early in the season every year. In past years however, all orders received later than last dates published on www.hamper.com have been sent out in time for Christmas. Any later dates published are the vendors' target and not a contractual commitment and are dependent upon the level of sales, the levels of stock held and the current performance of the carriers.
While photography and descriptions are intended to be accurate, Clearwater reserves the right to substitute items of similar or greater value if, for any reason, those stated are unavailable. Plates, glasses, wine boxes and other props shown in photographs may not be included in a hamper unless specifically listed.
Alcohol is only available for sale to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order for a hamper containing alcohol the purchaser shall be deemed to have confirmed that they are at least 18 years old.
Samples can be supplied for large orders. However, Clearwater reserves the right to charge for these at the agreed price.
CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS, CANCELLATION & CLAIMS
We offer the following to our customers in case of a complaint.
We welcome customer feed-back and are always grateful for any comments customers make: help us to improve the service of hamper.com. We monitor complaints and their resolution to make sure that our customers get the best service from hamper.com.
- We will deal with a complaint in a fair way.
- All complaints will be handled confidentially.
- All procedures will be easy to use, available on-line and well publicised.
- We will respond within a maximum of 5 working days, although usually within a few hours.
- Keep the customer informed about the progress of the complaint.
Notification of damages or non-delivery must be made in writing to the vendor within 21 days of the due delivery date
Should the purchaser, for any reason, request to cancel an order prior to despatch, the purchaser agrees to reimburse any loss incurred by Clearwater. In the event that the purchaser should cancel the order after despatch Clearwater reserves the right to refund up to 50% of the original order value.
In the event of non delivery within the UK due to an incorrect address or recipient information supplied by the purchaser, or if the recipient specified by the customer refuses to accept the parcel, Clearwater reserves the right to make a charge of a minimum of 50% of the original order for re-directing or re-sending the order.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
